A note on the Belgian foreign ministry website confirms that nine regions in western Ukraine have been put under quarantine for an unspecified amount of time as a result of an alleged swine flu outbreak and that movement within this regions is almost impossible.

Le Ministère de la Santé annonce que neuf régions de l’Ouest de l’Ukraine, à savoir Lvov, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Zakarpatskij, Tjernovitskij, Rovenskij, Chmelnitskij, Vinnitysia et Volynskij, ont été mises en quarantaine pour une période indéterminée et ceci suite à la propagation rapide du virus H1N1. Tout déplacement dans ces régions est pratiquement impossible et est vivement déconseillé.
