The silk was never successfully farmed before and when woven, is 10 times stronger than steel and many times lighter. The incredible capability of this silk and using goats to farm it was created with bulletproof military gear in mind.

As with genetically modified foods, mixing species requires extracting a gene (in this case the spider), melding it with bacteria (allows it to spread), and inserting into egg (the goat’s). The new goat can produce the silk in its milk.

Dutch researcher Jalila Essaidi said the ‘spidersilk’ project was called ’2.6g 329m/s’ after the weight and the velocity of a .22 calibre long rifle bullet.
Working with the Forensic Genomics Consortium in the Netherlands, she said the goal was to replace the keratin in our skin with the spider’s silk.
The first stage involves growing a layer of real skin around a sample of the bulletproof skin, which takes about five weeks.
A video posted by the researchers on YouTube shows a bullet then being fired into the mixture of the two.
Essaidi said that the project was making science fiction a reality, even if the tests results were not yet perfect.
She said that silk has a long history of using battle in combat and that Genghis Khan once issued all his horsemen with silk vests as an arrow hitting silk does not break, meaning you can tease it out.
‘Imagine a spidersilk vest, capable of catching bullets, the modern day equivalent of Genghis Khan’s arrows,’ she said.
‘Now, let’s take this one step further, why bother with a vest: imagine replacing keratin, the protein responsible for the toughness of the human skin, with this spidersilk protein. [emphasis added]
‘This is possible by adding the silk producing genes of a spider to the gnome of a human: creating a bulletproof human.
‘Science-fiction? Maybe, but we can get a feeling of what this transhumanistic idea would be like by letting a bulletproof matrix of spidersilk merge with an in vitro human skin.’ [emphasis added]
Bullet proof vests have been around for decades but skin that can stop them has only been the preserve of science fiction.

Tampering with nature will only cause big trouble. You can’t expect to cross animal or plant, or human genetic materials and have a good outcome. Eventually the mad scientists will go too far and create a Frankenstein. It will then be too late to reverse the trend because the genie will be out of the bottle.
I think the whole thing is evil since this science incorporates genetically modified plants, animal, and human life forms which is in essence, trying to change God’s creation. It’s one thing to use the same species to benefit it, but when you start crossing over species barriers, you have gone too far!
This is so bizarre. I suppose those eugenicist New World Order mental mutants have also failed to realize how difficult it would be to vaccinate their new minions. How about performing surgeries? Would scalpels become obsolete and require lasers for any surgery? God help anyone with a keloid problem.
Anyway, this whole bulletproof skin nonsense may theoretically work for those shallow pea-brains dreaming this crap up, but it is the hydrostatic shock that does the most damage in a bullet wound, not the wound channel from the bullet itself (unless it happens to hit a main artery). Having a skin that is still flexible enough to function as “skin” will not inhibit the hydrostatic shock of an approaching bullet. This effect would be similar to how karate blows to the kidney area can cause lethal damage without penetrating the skin.
Absolutely despicable and frightening that there are ‘scientists’ out there who think this is ethical and intelligent work.

They are defenders of Gods Will and question not when death is ordered of his oppisition. If God smites us it is because he created an imperfect thing and he is unhappy with it. So like the puppy that deficates on the rug he will, instead, Send his angels to banish us again. Subservence or death.
